To form young adults in the Way of Jesus—physically, spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and vocationally—through community engagement, mentorship, leadership, and purpose. This mission is built around one core question: "What if the most spiritually neglected decade of life became the most spiritually formed?" That is the WayWorks mandate. Everything we build, teach, lead, steward, or launch must answer that question boldly and consistently.
Before WayWorks had a name… before the structure, the vision, the leadership, before the verticals, the plans, the strategies— there was a stirring. A quiet, persistent whisper from God: "There is a generation in motion, but without direction. They know activity, but not formation. They know movement, but not The Way." In that whisper, a burden began to grow— not for a ministry, not for a program, but for a movement of spiritual formation focused on community engagement that would meet young adults where they are. This movement would walk alongside them as they discover who they are and lead them into the Way of Jesus, embodying the essence of young adult mentorship.
WayWorks is not just a single-issue ministry; it serves as a foundation for community engagement with multiple verticals—each representing a significant domain of a young adult’s mentorship and formation.
The WayWorks Foundation
Under the WayWorks umbrella are verticals:
- Athletes of The Way
- Workers of The Way
- Explorers of The Way
- Stewards of The Way
- Teachers of The Way
- Disciples of The Way
- Young Families of the Way
These different entry points reflect our shared mission and commitment to young adult mentorship. Regardless of the path, we foster the same formation and uphold one unified identity.
Because the 20s aren’t changed by sermons alone. They’re transformed through community engagement, mentorship, and a sense of belonging. This journey involves exploring identity, discovering purpose, embracing accountability, and sharing life experiences.
Movement + belonging + discipleship = transformation.
WayWorks integrates all three elements, making it a vital platform for young adult mentorship.
We love our volunteers and are always eager to enhance community engagement. Feel free to contact us for opportunities to contribute to WayWorks, especially in our young adult mentorship programs!
